2024 Suzhou Creek Forum focuses on technological innovation, collaboration in YRD

The 2024 Suzhou Creek Forum, a longstanding annual event organized by the political advisory body of Shanghai's Putuo district since 2007, was held at the Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel on Oct 22.
This year's forum, dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration within the Yangtze River Delta region, brought together a diverse group of experts, scholars, and members of the Putuo District Sub-committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Shanghai Committee to delve into strategies for enhancing the regional ecosystem.
In alignment with the imperative to nurture new-quality productive forces and support high-quality development, the forum emphasized the significance of cultivating a collaborative innovation environment.
Throughout the event, four experts representing various industries engaged the audience with insightful discussions on a range of topics, including the establishment of international collaborative industrial parks and the government's pivotal role in fostering cross-regional collaborative innovation ecosystems.
Yu Lijuan, the vice chairman of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee, lauded the 18 years of continuous contributions made by the Suzhou Creek Forum, acknowledging its role in generating fruitful ideas to bolster the development of key areas within the Putuo district and enhancing its innovative industrial landscape.
